The tub was quite large. Meant to simulate the hot springs experience, it in fact verged on being a shallow heated pool. Customers sat around the edges and relaxed as they might in a Jacuzzi. There were even salts and oils added to the hot water for increased comfort. As such no one questioned the flowery smell and pinkness of the water. The tub recycled its water constantly, but at a speed low enough not to create a current, and because suds rise, this did little to remove the endless supply of body wash.
If you think the bath-house extravagant for having such a tub, this might change your mind. The tub was actually shared with the boys bathing area. There was of course a wall separating the boys from the girls, However the wall was supported just slightly above the bottom of the pool so that water could be shared by both sides.
Rito was soaking on the other end. After what had lately become a normal day for him, he could barely keep his eyes open. A voice seemed to tell him that was okay. “rest and relax. Rest as long as you can. You deserve it.”
Back on the girls side, Mikan and Yami both moved back and forth, trying not to get caught in Haruna and Risa’s horseplay. Mikan did so nervously while Yami was calm to the point of indifference. Lala, in contrast cheered the two. “Get her Haruna,” Lala cried, as though she thought it was a wrestling match.
Possibly responding to Lala’s cheers Haruna nuzzled her face against a spot she new Risa found quite sensitive. Risa moaned in delight.
Haruna’s sense of propriety wasn’t all gone. She knew people were watching her. She knew she was already stretching the limits of mere horseplay. She also knew that with all these pink suds in the water nobody could see what she was fingering just beneath the surface.
A few girls thought Haruna was going to far. They all knew this was unlike her. Yami was considering whether to intervene when Risa seemed to remember she was almost two feet taller than the petite Haruna chan, with a 30 pound advantage.
All of a sudden it did become a wrestling match as Risa flipped Haruna with a great big splash.
Yui Kotegawa coughed. Suds of body wash had made there way up her nose in the splash. Fed up, Kotegawa pulled the giggling Haruna away from Risa and proceeded to lecture them on bathhouse etiquette.
Looking ashamed, Haruna crouched down until the water was up to her chin. The pink suds now hid all but her dejected face.
Kotegawa was quoting rule number three when her voice rose to a much higher pitch. She jumped away to find Lala’s tail rubbing between her legs.
“Oh sorry about that.” Lala said in a teasing voice. All the other girls laughed to see the uptight kotegawa taken down a notch.
“What has gotten into everyone?” As Kotegawa pondered this she looked upon the water. “Doesn’t the bath seem a little odd to you girls.”
“My Body wash,” Haruna cried.
She began to feel around looking for the bottle.
“Is this it,” Mikan asked. She held out a pink bottle and handed it to Haruna.
“Oh thank you,” Haruan said, pulling her in for a hug.
“One bottle did all this?” Kotegawa questioned.
“No its still full, and the cap is closed.”
With her face still buried in Haruna’s chest Mikan was not able to tell her that she closed the switchable cap when she picked up the bottle.
“It must be something else then.”
“I dunno. It’s the right color and scent.”
“Did you have two bottles Haruna. Yami lifted up another one.”
“Nope. Just the one.”
“Hey, I found one too.”
“Me too.”
“There’s enough for everybody.” Lala cheered.
“Hold on,” Kotegawa took charge once again. “Everyones acting odd, and now we have bottles of this shampoo everywhere.”
“It’s body wash,” Risa corrected.
“Whatever. Lala, why don’t you use your scientific skills and analyze it or something?”
“I’m more of an inventor.”
“Then invent something that analyzes compounds.”
“Okay.”
“In the meantime, nobody use this body wash.”
Everyone agreed and yet they all took a bottle home none-the-less.
A few hours later Rito was awakened by the bathhouse custodian. He had fallen asleep in the body wash saturated water. It was now closing time.
