It'd be interesting to see the effect of this ring in a Hermpire society. Any thoughts on how a Hermpire would react to this ring as either wearer or victim?
I was thinking about possible plots with the ring, and I'd like to see what people think about what should happen if someone takes the ring off.
I'm thinking that in threads without mental corruption, the physical changes should stay, but the mental effects on others wear off. So, the former Dick-Master has to hide their endowment without magic to protect them. Possibly, this situation would make the original owner immune to the normal slavery effects relevant to the new owner.
In threads with mental corruption, either much the same should happen, with the addition of removing the mental corruption, or only the physical effects on the wearer should wear off, with the mental effects on others transferring to the new bearer of the ring, while the corruption on the original bearer intensifies even as they become subservient to the new bearer. Like, the corrupt master becomes a corrupt servant, instead of a regular servant, if that makes sense.
I was pondering this because I was wondering how something like a Dick-Master versus an Alpha would go, where, you know, an Alpha has more versatile abilities (at least in some threads (which are probably going to go away, because reasons)), but also has defined (if difficult to exploit) weaknesses.
