Real World Sailor Moon: Fangirl Amuck!

Unending BE - episode 973183

Rei’s interrogation of her unwanted guest continued into the early morning hours, but both she and her prisoner eventually succumbed to sleep. Shortly after they had both nodded off, a second visitor hovered unseen in the air several meters above Hikawa Shrine. If someone had looked up, they might have spotted him in the almost morning sky. But when was the last time anyone looked up on an overcast night?

He needed energy, and he needed it yesterday. Had he been a simple human like the puny inhabitants of this world, the indescribable pain in his crotch would have cracked his brain like an walnut by now. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, the Negaverse general was capable of enduring the pain of the Blue Balls spell. He wasn’t certain if being able to function while constantly being subjected to agony that felt like white hot lances unceasingly stabbing him through his gonads was an evolutionary advantage or not. The sweet release insanity offered seemed like the better deal, all things considered.

By necessity, he turned his attention back to the shrine below. For a brief instant his eyes flashed red and the tile roof of the temple turned transparent before his gaze. There, in one of the two bed chambers slumbered the girl he had targeted before. She had been a perfect tool, given how isolated she was from the rest of the town.

But now that Jedite was ready to get down to business, he saw that the situation had changed just a tad. For starters, the lone girl was no longer alone. While the priestess was seated on a small couch facing the bed with her head resting on her shoulder, a second girl appeared to be tied to all four bedposts with impromptu bonds made out of the bed’s sheets. The Negaverse general snorted derisively at how primitively the natives here sated their lustful desires. The sooner they conquered this realm of simpletons the better, and he wasn’t thinking that just for his nuts’ sake.

However, the complications did not end with an extra warm body to drain. Now that Jedite was getting a second, closer look at his intended victim, he did not like what he felt. He very, very much liked what he saw, what with the girl’s luxuriously flowing raven hair, her delicately refined facial features, like the petite nose that was still wrinkled in consternation even while asleep, and most importantly a bosom that put even a few of his minions to shame. The only human he had encountered with a pair of breasts that exquisitely magnificent was the captain of the volleyball team, Makoto Kino.

And there was the rub. Just as his star player had turned out to be more than he bargained on, resisting his advances and somehow surviving the pocket dimension he had pocketed her in, this goddess among neanderthals had the same sort of intangible repulsiveness about her. In fact, the entire temple and everything in it seemed to be at least mildly opposed to his nature.

Normally beggars can’t be choosers, but blue balls aside, Jedite was about ready to move on and locate a more receptive target. But just as he readied himself to teleport away, he noticed that there was one thing in the temple that was more than receptive to his particular talents.

As soon as Rei untied her right arm, Kotori began rubbing the cricks out of her neck. They weren’t a result of the uncomfortable position her captor had placed her in overnight; rather they were self inflicted from the time she had spent ogling Rei’s heavenly-drawn body, from the moment the priestess had fallen asleep until sleep had come and claimed her too.

Drawn… now that was the scary concept. She had fallen down a virtual rabbit hole and in the process somehow been transformed from flesh and blood to ink and color. As crazy as Alice’s adventures had been, at least she and Dorothy had never been personally subjected to anything like this.

“You. Go draw some water for breakfast.”

Kotori found a wooden bucket icily thrust into her hands by the frowning priestess. At least, she presumed Rei was frowning; it was getting more and more difficult to divert her attention away from the other girl’s assets. Which didn’t make much sense to Kotori. She had her flaws, but self-control wasn’t one of-

“Get moving! We’ll talk about what to do with you once we’re done eating. And don’t even think of running away!”

“R-Right,” Kotori meeped, before hustling outside. In spite of her quality time with Rei Hino, the idea of running away was pretty tempting. There were so many places and people to see! Like the school Usagi, Ami, and Makoto attended, or Usagi’s bedroom where the scouts would ‘try’ and hold meetings. Still she could be patient; if she stuck by Rei long enough she was bound to see everything she dreamed about in due time.

The water pump was easy to spot but distressingly difficult to operate, despite being an animated facsimile of a real pump in her world. Manual labor was really not her thing, just like a stereotypical shoujo protagonist. See, she was going to fit in just fine here, she thought (ignoring for the moment that the universe already had five perfectly suitable main characters or main characters in waiting.)

Eventually, thanks to her exhaustive efforts, the small bucket was filled with water, and Kotori got a chance to examine her reflection in the water. The girl looking back at her was cute (‘Bonus!’ she thought) and resembled her ‘in the flesh’ form rather well. She especially liked the way it had her bangs fall over her right eye, and the way her DD breasts were drawn to appear firm and perky.

‘Wait, DD breasts, was that right?’ Kotori wondered as her head swam. ‘That seems off, for some reason...’ The girl from the real world found it unpleasant to concentrate on what she had looked like before. It wasn’t painful; it was just a profound sense of unease that abated the moment her thoughts turned to anything else.

Coincidentally, coming up the long flight of steps were three girls that stopped that line of thought cold the moment Kotori heard their voices.

“So… many… steps… Why couldn’t they build these things on, like, the opposite of a hill?” a very familiar voice whined.

“You mean a depression?”

“I’m not sad, I’m just exhaaaaaausted,” the first voice groaned. “We walked all the way around the neighborhood last night, and now we’re here first thing in the morning. Why don’t we just sit here and wait for her to go somewhere?”

“It’s only a few more… Makoto, is that safe?”

“No… worries…” a third voice grunted. “Just let me know if you’d ever like me to sweep you off your feet, sexy. Open invitation.”

The trademarked double bun of blonde hair with pigtails was the first thing Kotori saw as the visitors neared the top of the stairs, and it took every ounce of willpower the bookstore owner possessed not to squeal in excitement. Sailor Moon, the reincarnation of the ancient Princess of the Moon Kingdom, the future savior of the universe, was being carried on the shoulders of another instantly recognizable girl while unceremoniously rubbing her sore feet through her shoes. Not exactly the most impressive first impression…

First impressions… wait, this couldn’t be… This time Kotori couldn’t stop herself from screaming in delight. She knew this scene: the first time the scouts approached Rei Hino about her being a Sailor Scout! Holy cow, the rant that Rei unleashed on the poor, unsuspecting girls was one for the ages; she had seen it reenacted at countless anime conventions. And here she was, ready to witness it first hand! Any moment now the girls would reach the shrine… they would approach the shrine… they would start walking… why had they stopped? They were just standing at the top of the steps staring at her.

“What’s going on out here?” Rei asked as she stormed out of the temple. Oh right: her outburst. The temple priestess must have been interrupted while changing; she was hastily pulling one of the sleeves of her actual robe up over her shoulder as she strode, completely ignorant of the amount of chest she was exposing with the maneuver. Her eyes found Kotori first, then followed the girl’s gaze to the new arrivals.

“Visitors! Welcome to Hikawa Shrine. Is there any way I can be of service to you?”

Kotori bit her tongue as she squirmed in place. Okay, she had seen enough time travel movies, anime, and manga to know that the number one rule for anyone with knowledge of the future was never ever ever change how events played out. Unless she was supposed to. Or she had a good, selfless reason. Or semi-selfless. Or if it would be really funny. Okay, maybe they weren’t so much rules as they were completely useless guidelines…

By now the blonde bombshell had been dropped off by her porter. “Um, Hi,” Usagi said, quite nervously. “We were wondering, you know, if you would be able to help us out with... why are you petting my pigtail?”

“Oh!” Kotori yelped, caught in the act. “Um, don’t mind me, I was just…” Think fast! Think fast! Come up with an excuse! Any excuse! “...checking for lice?” Any excuse… but that one.

“Eww…” Usagi scrunched her face and stepped backwards. As the heel of her foot went past the first step, the ‘future savior of the universe’ comically began waving her arms wildly to keep from tumbling down the stairs ass first. For one brief, impossibly long moment, it seemed like Kotori was about to accidentally accomplish what hundreds of superpowered menaces would lose their lives over the next few years trying to make happen: the death of Sailor Moon.

Fortunately, Makoto was on the ball and quickly gripped Usagi’s school uniform by the neckline then hauled her back to safely. Unfortunately, Rei was also on the ball and Kotori soon found herself being painfully dragged by the ear along the temple yard to a storage room around the side of the shrine. “And stay there!” her captor ordered her, slamming the door.

“Well, yes ma’am!” Kotori angrily retorted to the girl who could no longer hear her. Honestly, it wasn’t her fault she was trapped here in a… actually come to think of it it was her fault coming here. And she wasn’t really trapped, she could have slipped out of the priestess’s inexperienced knots at any time that night. But that didn’t make it any less fair that she was missing out on one of her all time favorite scenes!

She sighed and sat down on a large sack of rice. She swore the next time when Princess Ayeka showed up at her store, she would manage to find just a hair more impulse control.

Her thoughts were disturbed by the sound of the door opening again. Odd, that was quick. It should have taken her much longer to pound her rejection into Usagi’s cute but thick skull. Still, it certainly wasn’t an unwelcome surprise. She quickly got to her feet, dusted herself off, and got ready to give the apology of her life.

Only it wasn’t Rei. Rather, it was two other people she now recognized. One was clearly Jedite, the first of the Negaverse generals. The other, meanwhile, was a mirror image of the mirror image she saw just a few minutes ago. Only this Kotori was wearing robes more appropriate for someone working at a temple. And this Kotori had rather sharp, pointed teeth when she smiled...

  1. Usagi’s attempted recruitment of Rei Hino goes just about as well as Kotori remembered it.
  2. Kotori’s… involvement alters the course of the conversation between the four girls. In particular, the new arrivals are curious about the identity of the girl Rei hauled away.
  3. After sending the newcomers scurrying, Rei is shocked to find Kotori wearing temple robes and doing something to one of the shrine bells. And yet her excuses seem to make sense...
  4. Jedite and the false Kotori knock out the real one, who wakes up later in a place that looks a lot like the Negaverse.
  5. *Meanwhile in the Real World, someone who looks remarkably similar to Princess Ayeka Masaki Jurai is wandering around looking mostly lost.
  6. Something else.
