After exiting the auditorium, Jim was overcome with a sense of relief of having left whatever was in the theater behind him. Sometimes his curiosity would get the better of him and he'd have to investigate. This time his better judgement told him not to trifle with matters of the unknown. Looking down the hallway to his left Jim spotted a clique pf girls who all dated football and wrestling jocks. Through the cacophany that marred the hallways between periods Jim would often overhear them talking about him and no doubt they were laughing and snickering to themselves right now about him. Jim sometimes wished he could teach them all to respect him, but didn't have the slightest idea how. Now bearing a sense of failure, Jim departed to continue his search for Rick.
