The Start of a (slightly different) Brand New Day

Unending BE - episode 3533

A swirly cloud of something that looked like fog filled the room, and then faded into the night. A girl lay sleeping in a bed, covers pulled up to her chin. The clock next to her showed "6:59", then quietly flipped to "7:00" and began to beep.

Jen was asleep, and right in the middle of a very exciting dream, when the loud beeping of the alarm woke her up. She blinked her eyes a few times, rolled over and turned off the alarm. She lay there in bed for a moment, remembering what she was supposed to do today. Whatever it was, it had to be better than yesterday, she thought - today is a brand new day!

After laying there quietly for a moment, Jen:

1. *remembered it was her boyfriend's birthday.
2. *decided to get up and meet this beautiful new day head on.
3. *heard her mother telling her she was going to be late for school.
4. *suddenly realized that she wasn't alone in bed.
5. *became aware that she wasn't Jen, but Jim.
