With a burst of willpower, Jim won the struggle and shut down the program, returning him to his real life body. As quickly as he could, he threw off the VR equipment, grabbed his clothes and ran from the tent.
"I hope you enjoyed yourself!" said a laughing woman as Jim fled by her and away from the carnival. "Come again!"
Jim did not stop running until the carnival was far behind him and his lungs felt like they were going to melt. He sat down with his back to a tree to catch his breath. "I'm not sure what exactly happened back there," he said to himself several minutes later. "Whatever it was, I think I'm damn lucky. I know one thing. When I get home, I'm erasing every episode of 'Tiny Toons' I have. I never want to see another female skunk furry as long as I live!"
A moment later, Jim felt a chill run through him as he heard the accented voice of Josette...
