Jim noticed that the plant had grown even bigger and was now allmost four feet tall.

And the bulblike fruit had grown as well. It seemed that at the same time that the plant had deposited it's seed into Beth, it had also extracted something from her and filled its fruit sacks with it.

Jim was so curious that he forgot the risks and got close to examine the plant.

1. He got too close and the plant grabbed him. but instead of its usual, it jabbed the fruit bulbs into his abdomin and injected him with the contents.
2. *Jim found that the fruit were plump and full of life and movment
3. Jim accedently cut his finger on a thorn at the base of one of the fruit.
