When Sharon got to the Mad Grape Juice Party she stood for a moment blinking in surprise. Because even though Alice matched the old illustration precisely, the Mad Party was nothing like Lewis Carrol had intended. Gone were the dormouse, the hare, and all the other animal attendees. In their places were two buxom women in Victorian style dresses, and a man wearing nothing more than a tunic. Sharon felt mortified as the hatter turned to look at her.
"Ah...Sharon," he began, "it'sh about time you got here. I wash entertaining my *hic* visitors with some of my own Mad Grape juice, but we ran out. But now you're here, and we can suck all we want out of your tittiesh." By the end of the Hatter's short speach, Sharon had figured out that he was already very drunk. A glance at the other attendees told her that she and Alice were the only people not at least slightly tipsy.
