Alice had had a good suck at each nipple, but to Sharon's surprise showed no sign of becoming tipsy. When she had finished, and had politely thanked Sharon, she went on: "It's only right that I should do something for you in return. Let me get you something to wear." She dashed off somewhere (Sharon didn't see where), and a couple of minutes later returned with an oufit matching her own but in Sharon's size: dress with full slightly longer than knee length skirt, high neckline and short sleeves; apron with two pockets; silk stockings and shoes. (No doubt there was underwear too, but since the Tenniel illustrations don't show that, the reader will have to imagine it. No bra, of course - Alice didn't need one and nor, she found, did Sharon. Her breasts seemed to be self-supporting.)
She put it on, slightly fumbling because of her tipsiness. When she had done so, feeling a little foolish to be dressed so strangely, it occurred to her to look in the apron pockets.
