Blip!
Jim watched in horror as Sharon collapsed into a bright pinpoint of light, which then slowly faded out of the picture. His girlfriend really had switched herself off and had disappeared, clothes and all.
Scooping the remote off the ground (thankfully it hadn't gone with her), Jim pondered. How the heck was he going to get her back? There wasn't an undo button. Would pressing the power button work if he aimed at the spot she'd been standing?
Then he noticed that things around the appartment were fading, shifting about or morphing. Was reality adjusting? If he didn't bring Sharon back soon, would he find himself in a world where she had never existed?
