Ginger Spice, outcast though she is, leads the other Spice Girls to Sharon's doorstep. Of course, Ginger is really Sharon's boyfriend Jim, although the Ginger costume has transmuted him into a duplicate so exact that it would be a perfect DNA match for the real woman, and masked his personality with a fake one so perfect that the friends of the original would be hard pressed to see any difference between her and the real Geri. The other Spice Girls are similar fakes-who-are-almost-real, three of them really men, all of them completely playing their parts. The fake Geri (Ginger) rings the doorbell -- they're a little early -- and when Sharon answers, she introduces the other "Spice Girls" to her. Sharon can't believe that they're for real, but the physical resemblences are utterly perfect and the clothes and voices and accents and personalities are all too plausible. The other party guests arrive, and the fake Spice Girls are the center of attention, easily outshining Sharon, who's a bit annoyed at having her birthday stolen this way. Still, it's fun, and the Girls are uncannily nice to Sharon. People notice that four of Sharon's best friends, as well as her boyfriend Jim, are absent from the festivities, but the Girls stay in their new forms, letting their new fake personae mask their real ones utterly. When everyone else leaves, the Girls stay behind and help Sharon clean up the place. Then:
