Amazed that the Auto-Doc had painlessly turned him into a brown-haired woman, he puzzled at what else it could do. He spied an LED display that read "23," the age he now was. Turning a knob, the display went down to "18." Jim wondered if the machine would make his new female self into a ravishing high school senior, but as the machine activated, the LED blurped down to "13." Staring in the mirror, Jim was shocked to see that he was now an 8th grade girl, still with below-the-shoulder brown hair; but had gone from 38D to 30AA bra and was in a scaled-down version of the brown tweed suit. In anger, Jim hit the machine. On impact, the LED went to "10," and the Auto-Doc rendered Jim a fifth-grade girl with a flat chest, chubby cheeks, but still with very long brown hair and in an even smaller size brown tweed suit (although the skirt's hem went from knee to mid-thigh. Panicking, Jim punched the control panel again. The LED turned to "5," and the Auto-Doc sent Jim down to kindergarten age. Still a girl with long brown hair, Jim now had a rounded little girl's body, and the brown tweed suit had turned into a blouse and brown courderoy shortalls. In a bigger panic, Jim dashed out of the Auto-Doc and into the waiting room with Sharon and the female doctor. With tears streaming down his face, Jim couldn't fully form words, but the doctor indicated that, "It looks like your boyfriend fooled with the Auto-Doc. Should I change him back?" Sharon smiled. "No! I sort of like him better this way," she said. Taking a rain check on her breast enlargement, Sharon took little Jim by the hand and left. "Where you taking me," Jim tearfully pleaded. "Well, Jamie," she said, "Now that you're a little girl, I'm..."
