Jim lifted the remote, ready to turn the television off, when the Victoria's Secret commerial featuring his girlfriend Sharon, ended. Suddenly, the screen went blank. For a second, Jim panicked. Had Sharon disappeared with the commercial. But then, there was a flash beside him, and he was releaved to see her standing there.
Sharon had a confused look on her face, which was understandable. Especially seeing as how she was still wearing the Victoria's Secret outfit that she'd been wearing on the television. "What the hell?" she wondered out loud.
"You were on the T.V.," Jim explained. "It was a Victoria's Secret commercial, and you were in it, dressed like that." He pointed to her clothing.
Sharon looked down at herself. "But how?"
"Don't you see?" Jim replied. "You didn't turn yourself off with this remote. You recorded yourself with it. Now, you can be programmed by using it and the television. See?" He pointed to the screen, where new words had appeared:
PROGRAMMING COMPLETE
SELECT NEW CHANNEL?
"The remote made you a Victoria's Secret model," he told her.
"But that's impossible," she said.
"Apparently not," he disagreed. "Watch." He aimed the remote back at the television and pressed in a channel selection.
"Hey!" Sharon shouted. "Don't!" But it was too late as a new program came on the screen. It was...
