"Are you sure you want to know?" Rick asked apprehensively.
"Yes!" Jim yelled.
"Okay, okay...it looks like you're stuck this way, because not only is the wand out of juice, I have no idea how to recharge it."
Jim bunched his slender new hands into fists. "I'm going to kill you," he said nonchalantly, beginning to walk toward Rick.
"Whoa! Hold on...I'll think of something. Until I do, just pretend you're my new girlfirend."
"Yeah, like anyone around here will believe you have a girlfriend," Jim snickered. A moment later he was shocked to see a hurt, pained expression briefly pass over his friend's face. "I-I'm just kidding, Rick," he said, suddenly ashamed of himself.
"Oh, hey, don't be stupid, it's okay!" Rick said brightly. "You're probably right..."
"No," Jim insisted. "I said I was just kidding. I'll be your 'girlfirend' until you can figure out a way to change me back. Call me...oh...I don't know...Reagan. I've always liked that name."
"Alright. What are you going to do all day, while I'm in class?"
