She decided to go to sleep, alone in her empty, lonely dorm that had once been filled with Gerald and Jean's chatter. Just as she was drifting off, her cell phone rang.

The voice that came from the other end of the line scared her. It was thin and wavery, like it was coming from very, very far away.
"Lana? It's meeeeee," Gerald's voice chirped. "I'm in Shadow Peak! Help meeee" the voice devolved into static. Shadow Peak She thought with alarm. But that's an imaginary town!
"Gerald? Where are you??"
"I drove to Shadow. Peak." This time the line went dead.
He drove to Shadow Peak? she thought frantically. How was that even possible?
Utilizing some stange spark of intuition, she turned her monitor back on and loaded up the "Recent Episodes" list of the BE Addventure.
There, at the bottom of the page, lay a new episode. It was called "Gerald's Game".
Lana stared at the screen incredulously. She didn't move for a long time.
Finally, she spoke. "What." she declared. "What. The. Fuck?"
