It didn't take long to see another rather major change.
"What the bloody hell is that?!" Rick said. "That looks like its at the edge of town, but if it's that distant-"
"Big," said Jim with a nod.
"Big?! You moron! That tower would have to be 4000 feet across, and there's no telling how tall it is!"
Jim stopped one of the big breasted naked women walking by. "Excuse me, that tower there. How tall is it?"
"The Elevator, Sir?" The woman looked strangely at him. "22,300 miles."
"That's what I thought," Jim said, letting the woman go past.
"That's geosynchronous orbit. A Space Elevator?!" Rick blinked. "How the hell did someone build that? We don't have nearly the technology. The structural problems alone-"
"We didn't. The aliens did."
"That's reaching a bit, isn't it?" Rick looked at what Jim was pointing at. A crablike creature continued walking across campus. "Oh. Never mind."
Noticing the way the men bowed, and the women stopped whatever they were doing to kneel, as the thing passed by, Jim had a theory. "Looks like Earth was conquered by aliens, people have pretty much gotten used to it or else mind control is being used, and their species is male oriented."
Rick blinked. "You're getting all that because the women are uniformly stacked, naked, and kneel as that goes by, while the men just bow or salute? Get real."
Jim nodded. "One way to find out-"
