Harley appeared in the backstage area of a small local theatre. Hearing voices she peeked around the corner to see what was going on. There, she saw the manager of the theatre talking to her next victim.
"I'm really sorry, Zatanna," the older woman said. "I ordered that cardboard standee weeks ago. I really expected it to be here by now, so that it could be placed out front in time for your performance."
The lady magician smiled, placing her hand on the woman's shoulder. "Don't let it bother you," she told her. "I'm sure everything will work out for the best. Why don't you run along and take care of business. I've got a few things to do here."
The woman left. "What a nice lady," Zatanna smiled. "I think I'll just have to help her out."
Upon hearing this, Harley grinned and quickly typed instructions into the computer. She hit enter, and looked back to watch the results.
Zatanna struck a showy pose, with her hands held up as if to cast a spell, then said, "Ekam a draobdrac eednats fo em." The magic worked quickly. Her body flattened down into 2-dimensions, as a crossway piece of cardboard came out of her back to support her.
From where she stood, Harley laughed. Just as she had typed, Zatanna had turned herself into a cardboard standee. And without the ability to talk, she was trapped that way. Satisfied, she used the computer to head for her next target.
A few minutes later, the theatre manager came back. "Oh, it's here!" she shouted upon seeing the standee that Zatanna had become. Picking it up, she headed for the front of the building. "Zatanna will be so pleased. I wonder where she got to."
