I was born on January 12, 1930. I do not know my name. I died a soldier in the Soviet Army when just 14 years old. I was brought back.
For thirty years I have been in the Cold War. I have been in Vietnam from the beginning to the end. I have been all through Africa. I have been at the Bay of Pigs. I have been on the wrong side all the time. The right side was not CCCP. The right side was not USA. They were both on the wrong side. I wanted to see the right side. I wanted to see rock and roll. I wanted to see the space program. I wanted to see the Berlin Wall fall. I wanted to see Woodstock.
When the Soviet Union collapsed they pulled my plug. When the power was restored for a line test I woke up. My internal clock said 1999. I remembered all the things I did and all the people I did them to. I wanted to die again. I could not die. I cannot die. I decided to become human, and live, so then I could die.
Now I travel. I have seen many things. Things I wanted to see. Things I did not want to see. I have seen things that you people cannot even imagine. But there are no tears in the rain for me. I continue living.
A scientist agreed to kill me. He would use high energy. He made me disappear. I have gone to another world. A happier world. I have made friends with a lady. She is not human. They use her kind for amusement here. It is the only violence left in this world. It is not deadly. It is good. The name of my friend is Pia. For the others.
I call her Nicole. She calls herself Nicole. We travel. We work. There is no war here. I feel at peace, but must continue moving. If I stop I become violent. It is in the programming. I am a troubleshooter. I shoot trouble.
Nicole is like me. She is a fighter. She is electric. But she is natural. She does not feel the pain of the flesh against the steel. We are very close. She wants to make love with me. I want to make love to her. That function was removed from me. I need to kill a person to assimilate replacements. I do not wish to do that.
We are at a strange place. There is a small group of people and quasi people. They talk. Two of them start a fight. I must not intervene. It is not trouble. Nicole has gone away. She always does that when we reach a place. Good idea to do reconnaissance. If she needs me she can call me. If I need her I can call her. She can listen to radio waves. I can too. But it hurts. It always hurts. Maybe in the future I will stop the pain. Nicole said she wants to. I wish she could.
