Jim thought about it. Why not go with what he basically wanted, then work backwards. If he was right about the program evolving itself, then it might be able to get *it* to make everything work.

Jim specified he wanted a high female:male ratio. He wanted beautiful young sexy girls, and he wanted to avoid some of the rejection he'd been getting lately. There was an increasingly hostile attitude towards men from some of the women's group on campus. Why not avoid that all somehow? Have a rationale for the guys to be in charge, or at least not something to be despised on general principles.

Jim tried putting in the commands as loose guidelines, and watched to see if the computer did anything with them.

The computer screen blinked a couple of times, then his commands scrolled off and a message appeared on the screen.

Jim carefully considered and pressed

  1. Y, and it seemed to work. Sort of.
