The Arrogant Nair looked up from his desk, a strange expression on his face as he stared at the blinking numbers.
“Huh...”, he said, “That doesn't happen every day....”
In fact, upon further thought, it would happen only once. The one and only One Millionth episode of the Unending B.E.A.
“We should do something special.”, Nair thought to himself, musing aloud as he looked away from the flashing numbers.
“The last guy suggested a party, seems like it'd be fun, even if it's been done...”, the author continued to think, “Someone else's already started a party between the characters, and the episode for the authors stands unused...”
“But why split the difference? Why not let everyone whose participated, fictional, satirical or authorial? In one grand party without a fourth wall!”, he declared energetically, pumping up a fist. And with a shit-eating grin on his face, he stood up, going to his closet and retrieving a tux.
“Better look my best if this goes well, wouldn't want to give anyone the wrong impression should we have an enjoyable celebration.”, he paused looking toward the screen and waiting.
And waiting....
“Eh, go fuck yourselves.”, the Arrogant ass muttered, returning his attention to his tux. With a snap of his fingers it appeared around him, perfectly fitted though he adjusted the tie nonetheless. With gloved hands he took a dark black mask and pulled it overhead, obscuring his already undescribed face from those with prying eyes.
“Well now, I look the part I'd say. So how about we move along, to the Unending BEA's 1,000,000th Episode Celebration.”, he offered, pausing for a moment before shaking his head. “No, no no...”, he whispered under his breath.
“That's not catchy enough... how about we just go with... One Million?”, he smirked, snapping his fingers again and replacing the surroundings with the front of a mansion, one fit for just such an occasion.
He chuckled, still smirking as he held his arms to the side, presenting the building before turning slowly, “Let's make this a fun one. See you inside.”
