Mako Makanshoku walked towards the trolley line that would take her to school. As she did so she hummed cheerfully to herself. Normally her walk to the trolley was an interesting a simple stroll for the dirty disrepaired streets of Honnô City's slums. Today was more interesting however as when Mako arrived at the outer gates of the Academy she came across something new, slot machine just sitting there.
Internally Mako questioned if it had always been there and she had just not noticed or if it really was something new. Confusion however soon gave way to curiosity and the impulsive young woman pulled on the slot machines lever sending the reels spinning.
It didn't take long for the first reel to stop landing on...
