Ranma the Mad Scientist: It's Nabiki's fault.

Unending BE - episode 1013682

As she was debating what to do, it seemed that the universe made it's choice for her as a grinding sound came from the magical machine and the other two reels stopped spinning. Oddly, they were blank, as if the magic couldn't fill in the last two if a person hadn't physically chosen to stop the reels themselves.

It made sense if she thought about it. It most likely took information about a victim from the contact required to make the reels stop. Or not. It was magic, and no matter how smart she got it was obvious that magic didn't always follow the logical rules of the universe.

Just as she was about to bust it open to see how it worked, since she might as well if it was already broken, it vanished. The moment it did a spike of pain went through her head and she couldn't remember why she was staring at a blank wall...maybe it was a side effect of whatever the Science Club had hit her with?

Wait...what?

Another spike of pain and her mind was flooded with memories. She'd been forced by Nabiki to go collect money that the Science Club owed her since they didn't want to pay. If they didn't pay her, she was supposed to repossess enough to sell to get her value back. Plus interest.

(Un)fortunately when she'd arrived they had been testing some laser to stimulate some gem they had found but couldn't identify.

She snorted at THAT memory. Of course they would test it. It was Furinken. Even if they had proof of magic from her, Kuno's finds from that weird shop that always appeared and disappeared randomly, and Ryoga's damned Koi-rod of Love, they would STILL want to mess with something that they didn't understand.

She understood that desire quiet well actually, she just thought they were idiots for doing so in a non-controlled environment.

So, of course, she had walked in at just the right moment to get hit by that laser. She'd literally FELT her brain heal damage, create new pathways, and expand. Luckily she'd expanded as well as whatever healed the brain damage from her years of training also healed her body of it's malnutrition.

Of course, she was STILL short, much to her annoyance...though she already had ideas to fix that...

  1. With glorious MACHINES! (The Mechanical option...duh)
  2. With fantastic CHEMICLES! (The Chemistry option...duh)
  3. *By altering her very D.N.A! (The Biology option)
  4. By altering gravity itself! (The Physics option)
  5. *MORE OPTIONS!
  6. Something else! Possibly (but not really) with CHEESE!
