It is a time of great change in the galaxy. With the deaths of both Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, the Galactic Empire is rapidly collapsing to infighting and civil war. The Rebel Alliance proclaimed the birth of a New Republic and is taking advantage of the chaos enveloping the Empire to draw countless star systems to it's side, who now see a Rebel victory as not only possible, but increasingly likely in the wake of the Emperor's death and the great victory at Endor.
As one of it's leaders and a hero of the war, Princess Leia Organa is at the head of this new diplomatic effort to expand the New Republic. She has been sent on countless diplomatic missions to secure treaties and help worlds break away from the Imperial yoke. While vital to the Republic, it was these missions, away form the security of the New Republic fleet, that provided an opening for those who sought her harm. However, it wasn't the Empire who took advantage of this, but the Hutts.
it would be wrong to say Jabba the Hutt was loved by his fellow Hutts, but he was respected. Controlling one of the largest criminal empires in the galaxy, Jabba was someone many other Hutts aspired to be like. For him to be killed by a human woman was something they couldn't tolerate. The fact many of them regularly did business with Jabba and had money and resources that were lost when his empire fell also greatly fueled their anger.
Jabba's family placed a bounty on Leia, the largest in recorded history. It was stipulate, however, that she be captured alive and brought to Hutta to face 'justice' for what she did.
The New Republic provided as much security was they could, but her duty in opening diplomatic ties for the Republic was seen as vital and she still undertook risky missions. With the largest bounty on record, there were bound to be cracks in security, those tempted too much by money, and eventually the infamous Boba Fett, fresh escaped from the Sarlacc, learned of Leia's presence on an Outer Rim world. Wanting to keep negotiations secret due to the still relatively strong Imperial presence in the sector, Leia was traveling in what she thought was secret with only a handful of security. Seeing a chance at a bounty that made Solo's look like chump change and wanting to restore his reputation after his humiliating defeat at the Sarlacc, Boba Feet arrived ahead of her and planned his ambush.
It was over before Leia even realized what was happening. Seconds after stepping off the landing ramp of their ship, before they could react, her bodyguards were blinded by a flash detonator and then cut down by blaster fire. Also, blinded by the flash, Leia fumbled for her blaster and tried to stagger back up the ramp, only to be struck by a stun ray and fall unconscious. She awoke to find her cell chained the wall of the cargo hold of Boba Fett's ship, Slave I.
Landing on Hutta, Boba Feet calmly accepted receipt of the vast crates of credits that were his reward. He watched detached as the Hutt's men took charge of Leia. She was unchained from the cargo hold, only to be immediately clamped in heavy binders on her wrists and ankles with chains connecting them to a shock collar around her neck.
The trial was a joke. She was paraded before the people of Hutt before being led to a Grand Colosseum where a group of the most influential Hutt crime lords acted as her judge and jury. It was clear they didn't care about justice, only revenge. Knowing the situation was hopeless, Leia resolutely denounced them all as criminals and that what she did to Jabba was justice for all the lives he killed and ruined.
She fully expected to be executed right there, but that was not to be her fate.
If there was one thing Hutts were renowned for besides crime, it was they're enslavement of other species. Male Hutts were well known to keep harems of females slaves for sexual pleasure, a fate Leia herself had faced at Jabba's hands before killing him. In general, Hutts loved to control and dominate the opposite sex of other species for their sexual pleasure and amusement. This wasn't just limited to their slaves, but also to prisoners and criminals in Hutt Space too.
On one of Hutta's moons was a special prison run by male Hutts for females who committed crimes in Hutt Space. There was only one sentence for anyone sent here, life. A life of endless painful and sexual torture at the hands of the Hutts. In truth, a life sentence here was really just a prolonged death sentence as all the women eventually succumbed to the torture or sexual deprivations of their captors. Jabba's family didn't want his killer to have a quick death. They wanted her to suffer as long as possible.
And that is where we join Princess Leia as she is taken to this hellish prison moon. What tortures await her? Can she escape? Will her friends rescue her? Or is she doomed to spend the rest of her life, however short it might be, as a prisoner of the Hutts.
