Maybe it was totally off the wall, but Jim actually considered what she was saying. He wouldn't mind looking handsome and muscular, that was for sure. And to be married to a hottie like Debbie ... who wouldn't want that?
So with that, he followed Peggy back to the Spell R Us shop, which he had just left a few minutes ago. Frankly, he wasn't quite sure why, though. Did she say she wanted a wizard to turn her into Debbie and him into Debbie's husband Vincent? Why did he just agree to this nonsense? It wasn't until he entered the SRU shop that he finally came to his senses, but by then it was too late.
"Found someone, eh?" an old man in a bathrobe said, emerging from the back room.
"I picked Jim because I like him," Peggy said.
"Good enough."
"Hey, what's going on here?" Jim asked.
"It looks like the spell wore off," the old man said. Was he really a wizard?
"Spell? What are you talking about?"
"I placed a spell on Peggy to allow her to ... well, let's just say it made it easier for her to get you to come here." He turned towards Peggy. "Now, shall we get started?"
She nodded and the old man began reciting nonsensical words, while waving his hands around oddly.
Jim thought the guy was just some kook, but then his eyes went wide when he saw what looked like blue sparks flying out from his hands ... and coming straight at him and Peggy! What the hell was happening? Magic wasn't really real, was it? What exactly did he get himself into?
The blue lights overwhelmed Jim's vision. And when the bright sparks were gone, Jim was different. But how?
