They’re quite right that it’s by no means foolproof, and Nodoka is still a huge unknown. But Kasumi will certainly back them, and they can simply buy Nabiki’s support if need be. And you just know Happosai would be all for it. So that leaves the fathers. But as demonstrated by when the engagement was switched to Nabiki or when they entertained the idea of Ranma marrying Soun when Ranma was locked, Genma and Soun mostly just care about joining the schools one way or another. So if their k1ds are actually trying to join the schools (though in a different way than planned), that’ll probably be enough for those two dopes.
So yeah, Nodoka is probably the biggest hazard. And the Amazons, I suppose. Well, unless some other crisis pops up, of course.
