"I have an idea," Jim told Gerald and Lana.
"Uh-oh," said Gerald.
"What is it?" asked Lana.
"We go back to Shadow Peak. We bring the laptop, and we keep tabs on the BE Addventure. Whatever Miserelda is up to, we'll find out by checking the Recent Episodes page."
"That's ... actually a good idea," Gerald admitted incredulously.
"Yeah," Lana agreed. "If there is a world-endangering threat coming from the BE Addventure being real, us staying close to Shadow Peak is our best chance to head it off."
Jean suddenly spoke, drawing all attention in the room. He still looked pale, as being transformed into the digital pixels making up the words Go back at the bottom of every Addventure page had obviously taken a lot out of him.
"I'm coming with you," he declared. "This is all my fault, so I am going to help make sure things don't get any worse."
"He's got a point," Rick said. "He's the one who wished us to be real."
"We are going to need a bigger vehicle," Lana said, reaching for the phone. She dialed the local rent-a-car place and began arranging a minivan rental.
