As Tsuru considered what to do in response to her changes, she started to feel a new pull, a call to freedom and exploration. It was a new sensation rather than one regained from her youth, much like her overly generous curves; even in her early years as a Marine, she generally tried conduct herself in an appropriate manner, and often engaged in an ultimately losing battle to convince Monkey D. Garp to do the same. Now however, between her regained youth, her annoyance with Akainu and the higher-ups in the World Government, and new thoughts whose origins she couldn't quite place, she was beginning to see the appeal of Garp's more unruly methods.
"I shouldn't be wasting my time in HQ!" Tsuru told herself. "I'm not doing anything worthwhile here anyway; I should be out on the ocean, catching pirates and protecting people." That decided, Tsuru set to work making the preparations to do just that. Fortunately, she had enough pull that she was able to order a warship be crewed with a complement of soldiers and prepped for departure without it being questioned, so a quick call on the Transponder Snail took care of that.
The next issue was the matter of covering herself; with her new ridiculous figure, there was no way any of her clothes would fit, so she would have to arrange for new ones. Tsuru's second call was for a tailor, and since Marine HQ had some quick-working ones on hand, she likely wouldn't have to wait long after being fitted. The now cobalt-haired Marine wasn't too embarrassed about her bouncing boobs and butt being on display, so she was free to be amused at the blushing, stuttering reaction the young woman who came to take her measurements had to her new figure. Still, the procedure proceeded without issue, and the young seamstress meekly rushed out, promising to have new, properly-fitted versions of Tsuru's clothes ready shortly.
That left one last matter to deal with for the time being. As much as she didn't want to think little of the lower-ranked Marines, Tsuru preferred to not have to rely on only them for backup. While she was still active at sea, there were a number of relable female officers under Tsuru's command, and the Vice-Admiral knew she wanted them around again now. The last call Tsuru made on the Transponder Snail was to order the reassignment of those officers to her new ship, and, to her satisfaction, those arrangements were also made without issue.
With all of that done, all that was left was to wait for her new clothes to arrive, and head out to her ship. Glad that her experience in sending out ships allowed her to make such arrangements quickly, Tsuru was nonetheless intent on setting off quickly, before Akainu or any of the other higher-ups could catch wind of what she was doing. In an eager dash usually more likely to be seen from Garp at his most kidlike rather than herself, the newly youthful Vice-Admiral charged out to her ship, taking a flying leap onto the deck and calling out an order to set off upon landing.
