Alice Thompson, six-teen year old daughter of Diana, was a classic tomboy in looks and attitude. She'd always been more interested in sports than dolls, and was hoping for a track scholarship to help her get through college when it was time. Her brown hair was in a messy pony tail that chiefly served the purpose of keeping it out of her eyes. She preferred sweats or jeans to the point of almost never wearing a skirt, and while not suffering from her mother's portliness thanks to all that exercise, she was a bit on the flat side.
She had gotten the new athletic sneakers she wanted, and was now looking to join her mom. So it was, in her search for her, that Alice came across the same machine, and it was different enough to make her pause.
"Weird," She admitted after looking at it, "My fortune, right..."
And yet, Alice , like a lot of jocks of either gender, sometimes had superstitious habits. Why not take a chance, she figured. Maybe it would tell her if she'd win her next meet?
"Why not, it's only a quarter," She plunked a coin in.
And again, the gestured around the glass ball stiffly. There was a pop sound, as a yellow card just for her came out.
You're a girly girl through and through, letting boys have fun with you!
"Wow, are you off," she told the machine after she read it, and tucked it into her pocket to show others later for a good laugh. Then grabbed her newly purchased sneakers, unaware they'd just turned pink.
Walking at first, she began to get more skip in her step, and thanks to her spurt in breast growth, a bit more sway as well. Her outfit began to turn into a mix of rose and hot pink hues, with her legs still slender, but gaining a bit more shape so they weren't too stick like. Which worked awesome with her skirt.
Alice hoped her lipstick was ok, she giggled and blow a kiss to a reflective surface when she saw it was. Her make up was nicely applied as well, and her lashes? To die for! The ribbons she was using to hold her doggy ear hair style in place looked so cuuuute. Of course, everyone would love her new perfume, called 'Sweet and Sassy!'. It, like, totally described her!
Nope, the only flaw in her wardrobe was these old shoes, and fortunately she had their replacements right in the box, a glitzy pair of sandals that would show off her perfectly painted toenails to the world.
Oh, there was mom! But Alice realized mom was on the prowl again. She rolled her eyes but still giggled. Mumsy was always on the prowl. Then again, maybe mumsy had the right idea.
Alice thought about acting lost in this big ole mall, that always got like a few guys to rush up to 'help' her. Guys were so nice, and while she could do things on her own, why should she? After all, she was a girl, and it was nice to let guys do things for her, and better yet, to her.
