Days ago, two forces clashed in battle: the X-Men and the Brotherhood. They fought tooth and nail, exhausting all their strength warring against each other, neither side aware of the real threat among them. By the time a young green-haired woman named Polaris discovered the truth, it was too late. She'd watched from afar as Rogue murdered her father Magneto - but only that long, before she passed out on the ground.
The next thing she knew, she was at the Black King's mercy. Helpless, gagged and robbed of her strength, she laid on a slab while Shaw looked her over. 'Personal slut', he'd said. 'A toy to call his own', he'd said. The way he'd ogled her body sent shivers down her spine, and at that moment, she wanted nothing more than for Shaw to walk away and leave her there.
She got her wish... but not in the way she had hoped.
"On second thought, nevermind. I deserve much better than this piece of trash," she remembered him saying.
"Sir?" his assistant said.
"Do what you want with her. Change her, kill her, ship her off to the dump where she belongs, it matters little to me."
Those were the last words she heard from Shaw before... it... happened. While the powerful Black King occupied his time with frost-crotched tarts and shape-shifting bitches, Polaris found herself...
