The other models were hopped up on the dust. They were a mess of lesbian delights, rubbing boobs against each other, feeling each other curvy bodies, long kisses. Victoria seemed plenty interested in Di, maybe even hero worship. Di smiled as she enjoyed the other models touch, the tender skin contact. Di might even consider becoming the girl's mentor, like Kimberly before her. The four of them went to exit the pub when Di got caught up by some one she recognized.
"Care to give an old friend a minute of your time?" Melissa Bliss smiled as she exhaled some cigarette smoke.
Di whispered for the other girls to enjoy the dance floor while she caught up with her "friend." She ordered a Long Island Ice Tea before addressing Melissa. "Melissa Bliss. Thought you would be half way to Gotham by now."
"And I thought you would be beach side in Italy. Still chasing the modeling dream?"
Di took a sip of her drink, "Its my passion. My gift to the world. Looks like these shouldn't be wasted chasing heroic fantasies."
"I've noticed Calypso's Dust seems to be circulating the streets. Well me and Seattle PD has noticed Dust seems to be seeping into the city."
"What can I say? Some things from the old world are too good to give up."
"If I know anything about you, Diana, I know your still a slave to Dr. Clark's commands. That you are addicted beyond hope to a drug that continues to ensure you are the submissive little attention whore sitting before me. And if I really know you you've probably done some dust right now with those other girls."
"So what? There's no Dr. Clark to control me. Cindy was a lie created by Circe, who by the way will be more focused on good old Wonder Woman to even learn about my existence. I can be my own woman in this world."
"Stop lying to yourself. Your scared shitless. You only started the dust trade because it was the last order given to you before the old world ended. Your just going through the motions, desperately searching for some one to give your life direction."
"No, I... I... I made the dust trade for me. For myself... Didn't I?" Di's eyes started to glaze over.
"Maybe. Or maybe you did it to feed your addiction. Face it Di, your lost."
"Lost, so lost..."
"You need some one to give you orders. Boss you around. Make you feel important."
"Orders... Need..."
"Your going to give control of the Dust trade over to me. Your going to give up your modeling career, that world is over."
"But, what will I do instead?"
Melissa smiled, "I'm glad you asked. Your going to join Bliss Porn Productions. Your going to become my biggest star. I can see it now, Bliss Porn Productions presents Amazon Princess adult videos. I'll get you all the sex you want, all the dust you want, all the party you want. You can even bring your little friends along for the ride."
"Mhmmm, yes, become your porn star..."
"The best part of all of this, it was all your own idea."
"My idea, always my idea..."
"Now once you finish your drink your going to party with your new model friends. Your going to convince them to join you at Bliss Productions. Then you'll join us Monday for the first day of shooting. See you then, Di."
With a snap of Melissa's fingers Di was brought out of her mind control fog. Melissa gave her the usual pleasantness, slid over her card with her number and Bliss Production's location, and walked out of the pub with a wide smirk on her face. Di shook her head, finally satisfied that some one came along to replace Dr. Clark in her life.

Kari came home to her apartment after stopping by the local taco stand. She got herself a victory taco in honor of finding relatively easy employment. Her roommate, Tracy Burke, was on the couch watching TV. She turned to smile at her roomie who was getting ready to enjoy her meal.
"I see victory tacos. Somebody got good news for me?" Tracy beamed, turning down the TV.
"Yeah, your not going to believe this, but your looking at a productive member of society." Kari answered proudly.
"Great to hear. What's the job?" Tracy continued to question, happy for her roommate.
Kari was more than happy to answer, because in all honesty Tracy has been her only friend since the defeat of Dr. Clark and being sent into this new timeline. "Your not going to believe me, Tracy. I was hunting high and low for employment, being turned down every where I looked. When I thought all hope was lost I ended up getting a job at the last place I'd expect to find it. Ever heard of Cole & Burns Investigations?"
"What is that? Some PI, crap?"
"Exactly, PI crap. Place is run by some private investigator by the name of Jake Cole. Little rough around the edges, but I feel he'll warm up to me. I start tomorrow being his glorified secretary until I can find a better gig."
"But that sounds like it can get really exciting, working as a PI." Tracy was a big fan of classic film noir. Detective stories and uncovering the truth for the Seattle Chronicle were Tracy's bread and butter.
"For a PI, Tracy. Besides, most of his cases will properly boil down to following around unfaithful spouses. No seductive vixens, gangsters with vendettas, or crazy murder conspiracies."
"You never know, Kari. We do live in a world where a man can fly and a guy in a bat suit fights a crazy clown. Hell our dear sweet Seattle is blessed by the presence of a warrior princess and a bad ass with a baseball bat. Who knows? Might get a case requiring you hunting down a griffin."
"What? You talking about Black Eagle? Nut job Black Canary wanna be is getting in the way of good police work." Kari joked, knowing full well she was bashing herself.
"Doing better work then Wonder Woman. She's focusing on what's important. Drugs in Seattle are being too ignored thanks to the mythical monsters attracted by the amazon. This new drug, Calypso's Dust, its some crazy stuff."
"Calypso's Dust?" That name, why did she recognize that name?
"Haven't heard? There's this new drug being pushed by the Clock King's thugs. The Dust looks like purple cocaine. Supposedly gives the user an experience similar to both ecstasy and cocaine. Some people say there's a magical quality to it. Mostly used by dumb college k1ds and rich ass holes looking for a good party drug."
"Are there articles about this?" Kari was growing concerned.
"Take a look. Should be article two on today's Chronicle."
Kari dashed over to her laptop and brought up the Seattle Chronicle's website. She read every article she could find on Calypso's Dust. When she was done she could confirm it beyond a shadow of a doubt: Calypso's Dust is back, on the streets of Seattle. Some one form her time line has reintroduced the drug that ruined her life. And she's going to make sure the Black Eagle gets justice for those who's lives the dust are soon to ruin...
