Chris carefully put the missing Christina Redrum's belongings back in the bag. He wasn't sure that Christina was still in the house, or if she was anywhere to be found at all, but it was his duty to bring the evidence with him. He pulled the bag on his shoulder and stepped out of the powder room.
The question was, now where should he look? He brushed some long strands of red hair from his eyes (Hadn't his hair been cut short?) and pondered the direction he should go. There's still a lot of ground to cover here. He opened Christina's bag and pulled out the cigarette case. Should I stay down here, or go upstairs? He flipped the case open and found it full of fresh smokes. Maybe I can think this over while I smoke.
Chris popped a cigarette in his mouth, and then pulled the lighter back out. The vintage design looked refined in his smooth, delicate hand. Looks like my nails are getting a little long. Didn't I just clip them yesterday? Or... He lit the cigarette in his mouth and took a drag. His nails seemed even longer than they had a moment ago, and were now coated in a beautiful red polish.
