"The Other Side is a cult that belives in the existance of multiple universes. That we exist in some type of "multiverse" where universes branch out from one another and are entirely
different. They think it is their duty to break down the barer between worlds and align with whoever will support them taking over the Griffon and Diamond Dog governments. For a long time they believed they were alone in their beliefs. However recently it seems that a new group has appeared. A cult of Blank Flanks that have acquired the ability to steal and exchange cutie marks, granting them all sorts of skills. They most likely have teamed up and that is why the assault on Manehatten was so devastating." Whoves said.
"How is that possible?" Cadence asked.
"Perhaps with some sort of magical artifact? That is my best theory." Whooves said.
"Yes...now that you mention it I do recall such an artifact. The gauntlet of Discord had such an ability. He imbued it with his magic so that his disciples could use it if necessary. But it was lost shortly before his imprisonment." Celestia said.
"Anyway, I have began looking up information on this group of Blank Flanks. Apparently they have heard of a universe close to our own, inhabited by creatures known as humans. I believe it is their goal to open a portal to this realm. What they want to do after...I cannot say." Whooves said.
