Well, those two have pretty well gone native. Nicely done.

I'm loving it! I find the character exploration of the first two paragraphs as thrilling and engaging as the sexy-time scenes. I find all of the options tempting. I'll have to give some thought as to where to go next. I'll try to get something up tomorrow, but I'm working on my kindle now and input is painfully slow.

BTW, I was really hoping you would pick this option!

Ava and Mac are going to be interesting to watch from now on! I wonder if Mac will start using another name to further distance herself from being her ex-mother's son/daughter. She's probably picked one out already anyway. After all, when she started this game, she wasn't planning to name her character after her male self, right?

Fri Dec Wait, which two?

Churl The first draft of this episode involved more conversation and explanation of all three characters' perspectives, but it felt a bit "and then this happens, and then this, and then this..." Then I remembered your episode 1216119 and how writing it from the perspective of the character doing the seducing helped ramp up the tension and mystery, and figured it might be good opportunity to focus on Loretta's development as a witch seductress.

I was actually intending to go into a little more detail in the sexy scenes in the end, providing a few mini-vignettes and sensory impressions and whatnot... But I finished off the episode while sleep-deprived, and it looks like I forgot to add them in. Oh, well! There'll be other episodes, I'm sure.

Oh, and your "a bit slow" is equivalent to my "blisteringly fast;" Please don't push yourself too hard while you're on holiday. I'd hate to see you burn out.

alligator alligator I honestly hadn't thought much about that, largely because there's a long tradition of naming D&D characters after their players, and "Mackenzie" is a supposedly-androgynous name and so works in that context. Plus, most teenaged boys are insecure in their social and sexual identities even before they transform into superhumanly-attractive girls in a strange land, so I've been assuming none of the teens would want to change their names. Still, now that you've mentioned the idea...

You're right that Mac probably won't want to define her relationship with Ava in purely mother/son terms any more. I don't think that'd make her want to give up her name and assume a new identity, though. Rather than wanting to think of herself as "not Mac," I suspect she'd want to start thinking of "Ava" as someone other than "her mother."

So, she might want Ava to start calling her something different as a way of underlining their new relationship... Maybe she could ask Ava to call her by the full "Mackenzie," instead of the short form of the name? That extra step of unfamiliarity might be just the ticket.

Of course, all this speculation might end up being moot if churl interprets things differently. That's the fun thing about writing these stories collaboratively: You never know how things are going to turn out!

churl If you can't decide between options, there's always "Some variant or combination of the above" in option six.

Ah, and here I let my ignorance show. I didn't know about that tradition of D&D. Fun facts!

It looks like Mac, Alex, and Morgan lucked out in the name department. Poor Jake, though.

Another possible option for Mac is to use a different part of her name, like Kenzie.
