No offense but couldn't you just put the name of the games instead being so vague with the options? Especially since 1 was a super easy bet on which game it would be cause apparently nobody here knows any other game with hot chicks as a main character anymore

The reason why I didn't name specific games is that in my experience, when a list episode does list specific games, the vast majority of its options will never actually get taken; The odds of future authors wanting to write about the five specific games listed is simply too low. At the same time, if an author has a particular game they want to write about, and that franchise isn't already in the list, they'll be forced to create a new list episode with all the same problems as the parent one.
The vague options in this list episode is my attempt at a solution: By keeping the options vague, future authors are free to interpret them how they want - which means that if an author wants to write about an Elder Scrolls game, or one of the Command and Conquers, or Nurse Love Addiction, they can simply pick whichever option sounds closest and use that.
Of course, there is a slight chance two authors will both want to use the same option, but every episode has that problem; It's one of the reasons we're encouraged to include a "Something Else" option.
That said, you're right when you say I should have made the first option Metroid-specific. I knew in advance how I was going to extend it, so the benefits of keeping it vague didn't actually apply. Oh, well. Changing it now would make episode 1230525 seem weird, so it'll have to remain how it is: An eternal testament to my poor judgement... In this one highly-specific situation.
Reading through your line makes sense and shown me the possible error of my own episodes (1230950) and the one before it but I was thinking instead of just jumping in right away you could make a second branch episode, copy pasting the same choices like in the restart branch then continue like so. Cause I was hoping it would be something else other then a metroid story like others
