The first thing Samus noticed in the mirror was the pair of white furred floppy ears from her side and the large spiraled horn jutting from her fore head. However those became a more minor concern when she looked down at her lower half. Below her anatomy her human anatomy ended and bellow that was a large white coated horse body. Looking around her Samus noticed the building she was in had large open spaces and wide doors meant to accommodate her larger body. She tapped one of her feet on the floor, the clopping sound confirming her feet were in fact hooves.
Feeling the intersection between her horse and human halves she noted it was a smooth transition and there was no zipper or release button. Feeling around her horse body with her hands she could feel the brushing of her fur, and the flesh felt biological and non synthetic. Of course while not done often except by a very niche group, this sort of genetic change was possible with current tech. Though usually it was done by eccentric billionaires she had heard some groups were starting colonies that would be lived in exclusively by “furies” that would sponsor these surgeries. Though that did left the question of why was she in a weird place as a centaur, was she kidnapped by one of these groups and illegally operated on to try to bring publicity or something? Looking on at a nearby table she saw a cheap old fashion tape recorder next to a tape called explanations. Not having any other leads Samus popped the tape in and started to hear her own voice speak to her.
“Um this is very awkward..you see I kind of used forgotten dark magic to possess your body for years. I mean it was nothing personal but you were just kind of the most convenient target. Let me start at the beginning, you see ever since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a unicorn and when I heard we had to technology to do so I basically saved my money for years until I could afford the procedure. However in preliminary test my old body was not compatible with the procedures to do this. You can imagine my despair when my dream was basically ruined, well I began to look for alternative ways which eventually lead me to some deep web web site that had a perfectly real ritual to posses people. You were chosen since you were partially famous in the medical community for your “genetic flexibility”. This could only be used once per life time and I didn’t know anyone else who was for certain compatible since it not like people regularly test for these sort of things. I suppose I could have possessed a centaur but I just really wanted to go through the experience of the procedure you know. So I took over your body, got the unicorn centaur procedure done and then moved in to a special colony for people like me. I mean life was fine I guess, the people here are nice enough, but I just realized over the years that this wasn’t like how I pictured this life. I guess I over romanticized it in my head and the reality was just more...mundane. I know this must mean very little to you but I am sorry for this, I would have turned you back but this is not the kind of thing you can just change your mind on once you do it. I do hope you can learn to live with what I did to you..” *click*
That explained a bit to Samus, someone just stole her body for the express purpose of becoming a centaur unicorn. In anger Samus slammed the tape deck on to the floor and used her new hooves to just smash the damned device into pieces. After a few moments of stomping her anger gave way to depression.
” Damn it how the hell am I suppose to go bounty hunting like this?...oh god what did she do with my suit? She better not have just sell it….though how the hell could I use it like this? Samus thought to herself.
