Now for all the wisdom, might, and cunning of his kind Ridley bore a great weakness of his people. Pride, that which gave the courage to seek more then what life had given him, that which gave will to climb beyond the know sky and given him satisfaction of being seen as a great cosmic threat throughout the stars. Yet it was this pride that had betrayed him more often then once at perceived slights or failures. So when he saw the object of his quest, the item to which he could be master of all slip through his grasp he once again fell to that rage clouding zone where he slipped from a cunning being of power and might to a rage filled engine of destruction and terror.
The person of his ire stood down below gazing at his usual screech of rage before merrily switched from missiles to super missiles and jumped again to engage her rival.
As both combatants fought, nether noticed the wheel spinning with great speed of the blow slowing down slowly until the rubber stopper halted the wheel and pointed to the universe's new genre with nether noticing that the rubber arrow pointed to a black background, white lettered, one single word: Lose.
Now had this been any other universal TF device, Samus, being the spinner, might been in a bit of trouble which the broad undefined setting of the word she could have lost any number of things to outright lose the fight. Thankfully it the the Genre Roulette Wheel which controlled genres and nothing more and worked on the principle of a gameshow. Unfortunately it followed similar but not exact rules meaning had it been a normal wheel she would have lost her spin and nothing more but this lose was different for not only had she lost but so did her entire universe, The prize being the wheel itself.
Ridley, in mid bite caught one glace at his target and for a moment his mind came back into being to make sense of the roll. As he screeched out in shock and anger the wheel quickly faded from his world...before he took a charged beam to the face and roared out is shock more then anything else.
But as the wheel left so to did the knowledge of it's existence, slightly rewriting the universe so that he had came to this planet to once more fight with Samus Aran as she had fell into a set ambush by Ridley over rumors of him seeking a forgotten weapon that would change the universe for who ever held it.
