Adachi was bored and particularly frustrated today. Not only did those meddling k1ds managed to save that pint sized detective a few weeks ago, but now he was stuck with the shit job of filing some paper work. The last round didn’t even last long, they took less then a three days to get Naoto out so even that bit of entertainment fell flat. He had to wait a bit of time before he could start the next stage of his little game so he had to just keep up appearances.
Ugh...So boring...who the hell even gives a shit about this paperwork” Adachi thought to himself.
As he was writing on a piece of paper the universe seemed bent on annoying him as the pen he was using ran out of ink. He silently cursed to himself as he just threw the pen away and opened up the drawer to get another. When he opened it Adachi saw something he swore wasn’t in there an hour ago. A gnarled piece of wood with some weird symbols carved into it. He raised an eyebrows and picked it up, the symbols starting to glow a bright red as he did so. The knowledge of what the swap wand did and how to use it was forced into the young detective's head. Adachi lips curled into a small smirk that some would call sinister, while most adults would never believe something like magic, considering the shit he got into the last few months well he was a bit more wiling to believe in the strange.
“Ooh this could be fun” Adachi quietly said to himself.
