I still felt like an idiot as I descended the stairs in my pink robe and underwear and slippers to make breakfast. But it wasn't as bad a feeling as it had been three weeks ago. It was a routine I had to get into when I in effect 'became' my mother, or at least stepped into her enlarged shoes. I yawned and pushed my long blonde hair behind my ears, then I tightened the cord of my robe and set about making pancakes.
10 minutes later 'my' husband came downstairs. I still had to resist the urge to call him 'dad'. Another shiver went down my spine when he nuzzled my neck and kissed me repeatedly. "Even in a robe you look gorgeous honey" he complimented me, causing me to frown as I looked down at myself. I couldn't agree at all. I didn't fill out the robe as well as my mom used to, but to my dad... this was how it had always been.
"I'll only have one pancake sweetie, then I'm heading to work" my husband said.
"Okay!" I mumbled a short response.
"I've no doubt Michael will have the rest of my pancakes as well as his own when he gets up, you know how he likes to woof them down" he said to me, causing me to turn and smile a little. "Yeah well... he's a growing lad" I said, weirded out by that very statement. My mom still had her large D-cup breasts and her hourglass figure as well as her vagina, yet... she was a "lad" to everyone but me. She did have my haircut however, which looked as weird on her as hers did on me. I let out another sigh as I finished the pancakes and scraped them onto the plates on the table. "Enjoy!" I told my husband.
"I always do" he smiled, taking a bite of one after putting on his necktie.
I slumped at the table and started eating myself, pondering if today was going to be 'normal' or not.
