I still remember the day my life changed forever. The ring began to grow warmer with an intense white glow, and yet I felt a shiver go through me. Then it faded from existence. One moment it was there the next it was gone. At the time I had thought it odd but continued on my way home. As soon as I opened my front door the whole world went black.
I was not ready for what awaited me when I woke up. I looked up and saw to my horror...
