I still remember the day I found those two pods in the basement one day. I was looking for a place to read my new magazine. With my mom bothering me to do my room and my brothers nagging me all the time I decided to find a nice and quiet place to get some reading done. The basement being the only option open for me. It was cool unlike outside and nobody would bother me down here.
But just to be sure nobody would find me I decided to get behind some boxes to make sure nobody would find me soon. I made a short leap over one box and instead of hitting the hard ground I jumped right into a hole in the ground. I frantically tried to claw my way back up but the slide was too steep and I was taken lower into the ground. Until I landed of course, which really hurts like hell. When I looked around I saw I was trapped. A small light hung above and everywhere I looked I saw steel walls. Except for one place, right of me an oval shaped window displayed a room next to me looking similar.
"Help, help." I said out loud banging my hands on the steel walls. Of course they wouldn't do anything so I ended hurting my fists. I looked up and saw the hole I came into, but it was way out of my reach. "Dang, how do I get out?" I pondered out loud.
"Pod 1 active, User: Christina Michelson." I suddenly heard a metallic voice speaking out loud.
"Who's there? I asked still afraid what I ended up in.
"Booting up Swappoo 3000." The metallic voice said again. I noticed a noise coming from somewhere outside like a machine or something.
"Hey stop it. Let me out please!" I said pounding on the door.
"Cannot comprehend. Please select second test subject." The metallic voice asked.
"What? What are you talking about?" I asked the voice.
"Does not know a "what are you talking about". Please select second test subject." The voice asked in the same tone as before.
"But what is this?" I asked him not knowing what was going on."
"The basic function of Swappoo 3000 is to swap....
