Chris looked around at who he could scan next. He'd wandered into the park by this time, and there were some people around. It wasn't crowded, but there were quite a few targets to scan.
Three pairs of people caught his eye. He picked one of the pairs and scanned them into the device. As soon as the device had two people in memory, a "swap" function showed up. "Weird... I wonder what that does? Oh well, only one way to find out..."
Chris selected the "swap" option, but then his finger slipped and he accidentally chose a type of swap on the next screen without reading it. Then to his astonishment, it actually swapped physical attributes between the two people he'd selected! At first he was shocked, then he felt guilty, but then he saw a button labeled "Reset." "Perfect," he thought, "I can have some fun with this thing, watch everyone freak out, and then later swap everyone back the way they were." (What he didn't know was that that button wasn't connected to anything, and without it, swaps were permanent... so his "innocent fun" was ruining people's lives!)
But first things first. While Chris is going on his rampage, what happened to the people he swapped? Who were they?
