Just when Chris was about to switch, he was stopped by a tap on the shoulder. Turning around, Chris saw another woman also in her mid-30s. Unlike the previous woman, her hair was brown and tied into a bun in the back, and her body had more girth. She was by no means fat, but she definitely wasn't as skinny as the woman currently sitting on the bench. (In fact, she might be thicker in some areas.) Judging by her attire, she seemed to be a colleague of that woman. The woman in front of Chris was wearing a burgundy blazer with a white-collared shirt underneath, barely covering her G(?) cup breasts. Below, she was wearing a black pencil skirt of mid-thigh length, and the rest of her legs were covered by black stockings. Her feet were adorned with red stiletto heels.
"Are you done checking me out? I want to ask what you were trying to do to my friend over there," the woman asked, interrupting Chris's thoughts.
Chris slightly blushed, noticing that he took a bit too much time looking at the woman. "No...of course not.. Wha-what do you mean by your friend? I was just waiting for someone, that's all." Chris stammered, trying to slide the remote covertly into his pocket.
Unfortunately, the woman was too quick for Chris. She quickly grasped his hand with the remote. The sudden grab made Chris drop the remote on the floor. "Don't play dumb. I saw you fire some sort of beam from that device to my friend. It doesn't seem like anything has happened yet, but I don't like where this is going, so I need to ask you to stop right now."
Kneeling down, the woman picked up the remote. Unfortunately, the screen still displayed the two images from before, one of Chris's body and the another of Maggie's. The chest region was highlighted on each image.
Disgusted, the woman said, "What is this? Some sort of hidden camera hack? Why is Maggie's information and body shown on this? What is this thingamajig? What were you actually trying to-"
In the last moment, Chris quickly swiped the remote from the woman's hand and ran down a small alley towards his house. Knowing that he probably can't explain out of this situation, he decided that running was the best solution. Unfortunately, Chris wasn't athletic, and the woman seemed to be more fit. She chased after Chris and caught him before he made it out of the alleyway.
"Don't try to run, young man. Give me the remote right now."
"No, it's mine. I was just messing with an AR app, this is all," Chris exclaimed while struggling to hold on to the remote.
"Oh, really? And what does the app do?"
"I...I don't know. But it's definitely not harmful, I promise."
"I don't know about that. If it's not harmful, just hand it over. After I check it out, I'll hand it back for sure."
Chris continued to struggle. Since he just picked it up, Chris didn't know what powers the remote have. But he was certainly curious, and relinquishing it to the woman now could force him to lose that chance. During the struggle, something happened.
