So this is really just a retelling of canon with one less character and lots of Statler-and-Waldorf-style commentary cutaways. It’s not really “going” anywhere.
I don't see how you can say this is a canon rehash when Ukyo has a different relationship to Shamkane then she had to either Shampoo or Akane. This thread is still in the beginning stages, where the aspects of their retconed life is being introduced.
