The man nodded to the statement as he laid the boy in the boat, Sharon allowed to enter as well as the man shoved off and started to row, the increased weight of her making it a challenge from the looks of it, but he pressed on, the current barely halting them as they made it and the duo got out of the boat, the man huffing as he thanked Sharon. "I thank you for coming this way, it would have taken a whole day before the waters calmed enough." Sharon tilted her head as she inquired.
"The waters would have calmed the next day?"
"It's a daily flooding, the highlands upstream often have a problem that their springs and lake surge out more water everyday, the current itself slowing enough for two days before surging again, those points are quite laden with the use of those people." Sharon didn't understand what he exactly meant as she just rubbed her belly to calm herself and the infant inside as the boy, looking rather pale, was lifted and the man continued. "We have no time to lose, if you follow, then you need to, these parts are crawling with brigands and thieves, no telling where though, since the old chapel site was laid low for some time." Sharon slightly chuckled as she had one such encounter, but she won it... somehow as the duo headed down the trail toward the village as the man spoke about it, apparently his red color coming from both his shouting to get her attention and his natural color, Sharon not asking how it is possible for now.
