Hmm, this is an interesting development.
The AI draws on the combined computing power of a vast number of nanites distributed throughout Marcus' body and the surrounding air, and was not designed to be split into two. That suggests that if the two of them get close enough, their AIs may automatically share each others' resources and thoughts to the point of merging into one - which would be a weird experience for both Marcus and Sonia, I suspect.
On that note, Marcus' AI is programmed to follow its host's orders - but when there are two hosts, that's going to be complicated. Does Marcus have the ability to command Sonia's body to do things, and vice versa? Does the most recent command trump all previous ones, because the programmers didn't think there's ever be two hosts sharing the same nanite cloud?
Also, presumably Marcus and Sonia are going to take whatever steps they can to prevent the contagion from spreading further - but is there anyone else nearby who might have been "infected" already?
