This was weird. There her body was, her guard down, and unprotected. This is the perfect opportunity for a pervert to take advantage of it. They didn't even have to gang up on her like that hentai horde had. Why even Hiroshi and Daisuke could.... Here they are, only a few seconds past their cue.
Akane watched and waited for the Ranma's pervert friends to make their move. Only to see them walk right by her still as a mannequin body. The only movements were those the breeze did to her hair and clothes.

"I almost forgot the eel Mom wanted me to pick up!" Daisuke said, heading for Mr. Hamasaki.
"Eel? Slimy!" Hiroshi said, leaning against her body. He had begun. If Akane got back in her body, and moved, he would say he hadn't seen her. If the body didn't move, he would see how much further he could go before getting a reaction. "Well, what do you think? Let's get a job as home deliverers. I hear they get lucky with lonely housewives!"
"One problem, H. We don't know how to drive. Nobody we know in Nerima knows."
"It's always something," Hiroshi griped. And that was all he did. He was resting his arm up on her body's shoulder as if it were just something he could casually lean against. Even his dangling hand was hanging away from her breasts, not even near to groping them.
It all did not compute to Akane. She was used to being ogled and leered at. The guys had to do it carefully, though, hoping she wouldn't notice, because everybody in town knew how great a martial artist she was. In a town were everything and anything, even chess, could be turned into a martial art, she had been the best. Until Ranma showed up. Then Ryoga. Then Shampoo. Then...
"Get that eel away from me!" Hiroshi's hands went away from her body as he pushed Daisuke's wrapped fish away.

Calm as Akane was, she was still disappointed. She had expected something perverted to happen. Anything. She found a silver cord and used it to pull herself closer to her body. She studied it, wondering why perverts would pass it up.

Alright. She honestly could see her physical flaws. But there was more to being attractive to perverts and others.
Now that Akane could calmly and rationally judge herself, she was finally ready to see how many purple threads came her self's way. There were some, but not many. Not anywhere near the number she had thought there would be. Or should be. The idea that she was lusted after by just about every guy who came across her was turning out to be, perhaps, only in her imagination. Or fantasy? She was just not as popular as she wanted to believe she was. Even before this revelation, she knew that her sister Kasumi was....
Akane looked at all the threads that went towards their house. They were mostly blue. But most had some purple in them. Kasumi's friends and neighbors lusted after her. Her. Not Akane.
