Holding Agent Anabel's phone, Wicke began to type.
0013: A Cynthia is the president of every region's largest business, and they all look nearly identical to each other. Everyone accepts the explanation that they are a family. Each Cynthia has their own Secretary Lusamine, and Maid Aurea, Officer Jenny, Nurse Joy, and Wicke paused. Why would an Agent of the International Police be assigned to a President? Unless... they weren't an Agent. a Bodyguard Anabel.
After she pressed Enter, Agent Anabel asked her, "This is your analysis?"
Wicke nodded, "I've decided to start by typing something completly true and see if the program reacted. We can-"
"-Do analysis later on the data my device sends because of this program, and perhaps track where the data is sent," Agent Anabel realized. "But why did you put something true?"
Wicke thought, "Well imagine how embarrassing it would have been to type something untrue to no effect. I wonder if everyone who has inputted something thought the same way."
Agent Anabel replied, "I suppose that explains why all the other lines here are presumably true statements as well." She paused for a bit, Unless...
Agent Anabel's train of thought was interrupted by Professor Burnet and Doctor Fennel who had apparently decided to construct their equipment in such a way that both of them had contributed components, synthesizing them into a single set. Rotomdex hovered around it proudly, buzzing, "Scientific synthesis complete!"
"Yes, it looks very nice," Said Aether Foundation President Cynthia.
"We're ready to start our measurements," Professor Burnet announced. "But... I'm sorry, President Cynthia, but this will take some time."
Aether President Cynthia nodded and replied, "I understand. Just contact me as soon as your work is done. Thank you." She ended the call.
"Ready for roto-work!" Said Rotomdex.
"I better get back to work too," Said Wicke. "Miss Anabel, I'll be happy to help you with that as soon as I'm done."
"Thank you, but-" Agent Anabel looked back at the phone. "But what do I do about this right now?"
"You let me know if you need further assistance," Wicke said. "In the meantime, I'm going to get my systems set up as well and let our President know."
Agent Anabel just nodded. She heard a small "Hello," near her and turned her head towards it. "You must be Acerola."
Acerola nodded, "Nice to meetcha! Hey, can I ask you something?"
Agent Anabel knelt down to get closer to Acerola's level, "Go ahead."
"Why are Anabels two families?" Asked Acerola.
Agent Anabel smiled, "I know it may look that way but we're still one family. We just have two jobs, and even they aren't too different."
Acerola blinked. "Huh?"

This Cynthia, no longer the Champion of Sinnoh but specifically the President Cynthia who was President of Aether Foundation, returned to other matters as the measurements were being taken. Everything is going as planned. Kalos Champion Actress Diantha and Alolan Agent Anabel have met the group. Alolan Professor Burnet and the Doctor Fennel who specializes in Dimensional research have joined my Head Researcher Wicke and begun their analysis of what we suspect are the beginnings an Ultra Wormhole. I'll have to send a note of appreciation to Unovan Professor Doctor Fennel for her part in all this. She contacted her Secretary and said, "Once the analysis is complete and the briefing is prepared I'll want you there as well to take notes, Secretary Lusamine."
Secretary Lusamine nodded fiercely, "Yes, Ma'am. I've already notified Wicke to that effect. Anything I can do to assist in solving the mystery of the Ultra Beasts."
"Good. Your reliability is superb as ever." Cynthia pushed a button on her intercom, "Maid Aurea, I'll need you to be ready to prepare a pot of tea, green please."
Maid Aurea's voice could be heard responding, "Yes, Mistress. I'll have it prepared soon."
"Thank you," Said Cynthia. "Secretary Lusamine, please return to your normal duties, but continue to watch for further messages from Head Researcher Wicke."
"Understood. Thank you, Ma'am. I have new messages to report on other matters."
"You may summarize them for me," Aether President Cynthia told her.
Secretary Lusamine explained, "Several Actress Dianthas are continuing to maintain cordial contact with us through their Secretary Lusamines."
President Cynthia sighed, "Still trying to negotiate media rights to different facets of the Ultra Beast matter. Who do we have so far?"
Secretart Lusamine answered, "We have been contacted by the Actress Dianthas who work in Youth Educational Programs, Nature Documentaries, Urban Documentaries, and Historical Shows, with more probably yet to come. Honestly, I think they may be jealous in part because one of their own is such an honored guest."
President Cynthia shrugged and replied, "We're lucky to have an Actress Diantha who is also-" She paused for a moment.
"Is something wrong?" Asked Secretary Lusamine. "Is... this about your sister not being available for the conference?"
My sister... "I respect her busy schedule as the Champion of Sinnoh and President of the Poketch Company, and in all honestly I'd rather be..."
"Your own woman?" Wondered Secretary Lusamine, head cocked.
"Yes," responded Aether President Cynthia dryly. "Tell the Actress Dianthas what we've told them before: That we can discuss their requests at a later date, once the matter of the Ultra Beasts has been completely settled to our satisfaction. Add that we'll contact them after the Manolo Conference for an update."
Secretary Lusamine continued, "Your Officer Jenny is inspecting the layout of the Manolo Stadium as you ordered, and should be giving the report shortly, but your Nurse Joy is still working at the Pokemon Center. Should we contact her?"
President Cynthia replied. "We can do so once we have a better understanding of the threat. If there is nothing else, you may go."
"Thank you, Ma'am." With that, Secretary Lusamine bowed and left the room.
Stationed next to Aether President Cynthia, her lavender-haired Bodyguard Anabel sighed and said, "Every time the Ultra Beasts return it gets more dangerous. The first incident was bad enough, but now more people could be at risk than ever before, yourself included. I know it's up to you and Aether Foundation to handle this, and that the Ultra Guardians are up to it, but do you really need to be there yourself where it could be dangerous?"
Aether President Cynthia replied, "This Conference is partly my project and partly my responsibility. And besides, thanks to your concerns and suggestions our observation booth should be the safest place in the stadium and nearby areas. I'll be fine, especially with you around."
Bodyguard Anabel saluted, "I'll do everything I can to protect you."
"And I'll do everything I can to make sure it doesn't come to that," Aether President Cynthia promised.
~~
Agent Anabel finished her explanation, "So you see, even though we have two job titles all Anabels focus on protection. Agent Anabels investigate and foil threats to the laws that keep our society together and Bodyguard Anabels investigate and foil potential threats to their bosses, who run the companies that keep our society running."
Acerola nodded, "Okay, that makes sense. Thanks, Agent Anabel."
Agent Anabel smiled, "No problem." She turned to see the three experts building their equipment, as well as the Rotomdex buzzing around them. "Hey, what is that, exactly?" She asked Professor Burnet about the Rotomdex.
"Hello-buzz! I'm Rotomdex, a Rotom Pokedex Form! I possess an encyclopedic knowledge of Pokemon as well as photographic and other miscellaneous capabilities."
Agent Anabel looked at it, "Miss Professor Burnet, just how capable is it as computing device?"
Professor Burnet answered, "Rotomdex functions very well within what Professor Kukui hoped it would be able to accomplish. It's not a muscle machine, but I brought it because I knew we'd need all the analyzing power we could get. Still we're not quite done synthesizing our equipment; did you need it?"
Agent Anabel nodded, "Yes, actually. I was hoping it could do some analysis on this strange program."
Professor Burnet looked to Wicke, "Wicke, do you think it would be okay?"
Head Researcher Wicke nodded. "The program didn't seem that harmful."
"Rotomdex, could you please?" Asked Professor Burnet.
"Right on it!" Rotomdex hovered over to interface with Anabel's phone. "Please pass me the phone. I'll give it a quick buzz."
Agent Anabel noticed Actress Diantha's Secretary Lusamine trying to sneak a glance while pretending to focus on Actress Diantha as she chatted up the other Kahunas. Filing it away, she held up her phone to Rotomdex. "It's a program calling itself the World Processor," She whispered to Rotomdex. "Focus on that. Anything else is off-limits."
Rotomdex nodded fiercely. "Got it. Detective time!" It interfaced with Agent Anabel's phone. "File size 2.85 KB, no records of data recieved, sent, or modified by this program, or of this program's transmission into this device." Rotomdex paused, a frowny face emote appearing on its screen. "Bzzt! Does not compute."
I'd have to agree, Thought Agent Anabel. "Rotomdex, try entering a command and seeing how the program reacts."
"Bzzt! On it!" Rotomdex replied.
