Maggie was not having a good day. After leaving the two freshmen to an almost certain bullying by Julie, she walked to the mechanics to pick up her car, only to find that it was going to take twice as long and three times as much money to repair. Angry and frustrated, she made the fifteen minutes walk back to the sorority house, the promise of a cool dip in the only thing keeping her from completely losing it.
However, when she got to the pool, she found three topless strangers. Two of them, one with green hair and one with white, lacked bottoms as well. Though they sported cartoonishly large and firm breasts, Maggie could only describe them as gorgeous. The third woman was plainer and more flat-chested. She seemed intimidated by the other two, but Maggie realized she could not care less about what they were talking about. She wanted to swim.
"What are you doing in my pool?" she demanded crossly. "This pool is for Beta Epsilon only!"
The green-haired woman, who sported Asian features, seemed hurt by the accusation. "But Maggie! We live here!"
Maggie squinted at the naked bombshell. "Min?...Becca? What happened to you two? You look...different."
"We...uh...changed," Becca said. Once more she was starting to feel self-conscious about her nudity.
"Becca bought us magic soda!" Min exclaimed. "They have all sorts of effects, but they all seem to make you sexier."
Maggie shook her head. If she weren't seeing it with her own eyes, she wouldn't believe it. "And you are...?" she asked the plain, brown-haired girl.
The girl seemed inordinately flustered by the question. "I'm...uh...I am...I mean, I was Mark. I'm a pledge from Pi Epsilon."
"You're a guy?" Maggie asked, her eyebrow cocking up. "Soda got you, too?"
"No," Mark said. "Pool water. It had some kind of milk in it and...oh, it seems to have cleared up."
Becca and Min shared a glance. Without saying a word, they seemed to reach a decision. Min offered the bottle in her hand to Maggie. "Want a soda?"
Maggie looked tempted. "I don't know. How long do the effects last?"
"Yeah, good question," Mark said.
"I don't know," Becca said. "At least a couple hours. Maybe forever. None seem harmful."
"Will I get a body like yours?"
"Mmmmmaybe?" Becca said. "Look, Maggie, you've always looked out for us, even though we had a hard time fitting in this year. Something great happened to us. We want to share it with you."
Maggie was genuinely touched. She took the bottle and studied the colorful liquid within. "Aw, thanks guys. You're so sweet. I suppose it couldn't hurt to be drop dead gorgeous, right?" She tossed down the soda, leaving only a few drops in the bottle, which were colored...
