"No, she isn't." Maggie drew herself up to her full height of six feet and three inches, and tried to look as authoritative as possible. "She hasn't done anything wrong, so you should let her go."
Her plan was that the Dean and security guards would just do what she said, like Min, Becca, and Mark had - but it didn't work. Not completely, anyway. The two security guards did visibly hesitate for a moment, and the younger of the two, Tyler, went so far as to actually let go of Julie's arm - but a glare from the Dean quickly convinced him to grab it again.
Maggie actually felt a little relieved that her ability to command people wasn't absolute. As fun as it was to make Min and Becca jump, total mind control would have soured the friendship.
Of course, that meant she'd have to find some other way to deal with Dean Rodriguez.
"Nothing?" the Dean in question asked. "How about public nudity and fornication, and impersonation of a member of staff?"
Fortunately, Maggie was a law major. "We're not in public. This is private property, owed by the sorority, and we are allowed to be naked in the privacy of our own home."
The Dean snorted angrily. "And? That doesn't change the fact that you're mocking a staff member to her face."
"Julie here has a rare medical condition that causes her to take on the physical traits of people who touch her, as you can see. It was you, Dean Rodriguez, who laid a hand on an innocent student, thus triggering her condition. You can't blame Julie for it - unless your position is that the college isn't obliged to cater to students' special medical needs?"
Maggie paused, waiting to see the Dean's reaction. That last argument had been a stretch. She basically was gambling on her aura of command having at least some effect on dried-up old prunes... Fortunately, the Dean seemed to be sputtering incoherently rather than pointing out the absurdity of a medical condition that caused shapeshifting.
"In fact," Maggie ventured, "Since you laid hands on a defenceless student who was in a state of undress, in her own home, and unaware of your impending assault, there might even be a case here for sexual assault-"
"How dare you!" Rodriguez boomed, her outrage overcoming her.
"How dare you!" Julie sniped back, in Rodriguez's voice. The effect was spoiled by her laughing like Rodriguez never had.
The Dean's mouth was a thin line. "This changes nothing," she seethed. "I am authorized to suspend any chapter house that I have reason to suspect is engaged in serving alcohol to minors. And, as you're clearly reluctant to assist my investigation, I am forced to conclude that you are planning to serve alcohol, and are now trying to cover it up."
Maggie was stunned for a moment - then hit on an absolutely crazy idea. "You're welcome to come!" she announced.
"What?!" Rodriguez and Julie exclaimed, in the exact same voice.
"I said you're welcome to come," Maggie replied. "Stay for the whole party, if you want. Check everyone's drink. Taste everything we serve. I guarantee, the only thing we're planning to give anyone is soda."
Julie's eyes widened. Then she tried and failed not to laugh out loud.
The Dean peered at her snickering double, and snorted dismissively. "I've better things to do with my time than walk into student pranks."
She glanced at the security guards. "Let her go. We're done here." She turned to leave.
"So, when people ask about it later, we can tell them you didn't check what we were drinking? Maggie asked. "Even though we offered to let you check?"
Dean Rodriguez gave the two naked girls a look that would wither corn. "Fine. I will be here. So will campus security. And if I - or they - spot any violation of campus rules, you'll be hearing from me for the last time."
