Dean Joan Rodriguez scowled at the monitor of her five year old desktop and started up the video again. The eleven minute amateur video clearly showed three giantesses cavorting in and near the stadium, less than a mile from her office. It didn't make sense. Each girl stood three miles tall and must have weighed over a million tons, yet their was no seismic record of their activity, and local news crews could find no trace of damage to the stadium or the surrounding area. The general consensus was that the sexy nude giantesses were part of some elaborate prank involving holograms.
And yet, the Dean thought, one of the Giants, the blonde, was a dead ringer for one of the smart-alec sorority girls she had confronted earlier. Something strange had been going on there, what with one of them turning into her mirror image. It could have been holograms, but Beta Epsilon girls weren't that smart as a rule. She had to find out more.
She was halfway through her fifth viewing of the video when Carl, the head of security, entered, carrying a case of colorful soda bottles.
"Dean Rodriguez? The lab results came back from that soda bottle you took. No alcohol or any known narcotics, but there were some chemicals which they're having trouble identifying. I called the manufacturer, and they delivered a case for us to sample. See? It says 'new and improved flavors.'"
The Dean raised an eyebrow. "That was fast." It had been barely two hours since she left the sorority house.
The chubby, balding security agent mopped his brow. Carrying the heavy case of glass bottles took a lot out of him. "I know, right? No ingredients on the bottles, which strikes me as suspicious. And check out these flavors. Furnilla? Berry heroic? Devil's Red Hot? Sssssaspirilla? I just don't get this whole artisanal thing..."
Rodriguez didn't either, but she was convinced that the sodas had something to do with the strangeness at the sorority house. She could wait for the lab report, but she was not a patient person. She needed to see the effects of the sodas first-hand.
"Thank you for bringing these to me," she said. "You look hot. Care for a drink before you go?"
